Batson Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; all through November this area sees the most rain while January is frequently the driest month. Having a brilliant time at Batson Pond is trouble-free. Dry warm beds await you at Merrill Farm Resort; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Abenaki is pretty near. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Batson Pond, and through summer nights temperatures       are in the 50's. During the winter the highs are generally in the 20's; night lows during the wintertime for Batson Pond tend to be in the 0's. So many entertaining things close to Batson Pond, completely fantastic. If you're popping by Batson Pond from Laconia, you won't be the only one; at Batson Pond you can see Batson Hill. Going for a hike on the Weetamoo Trail is always a great adventure; King Pine is a fine local ski area. Go for a hike on the                  Hammond Trail, and enjoy a round of golf at Kingswood Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Batson Pond is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Willey Brook Campground is a splendid place to camp nearby, and after a long day outdoors Wolfeboro Inn is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Lovell River for all you adrenaline junkies; if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Clows Beach. A delightful beach in the vicinity of Batson Pond is Allen Albee Beach; you can run the rapids of Cold Brook. Good hiking is available along the Piper Trail, and if you get bored of Batson Pond you could also check out close by Archers Pond.
