Bate Pond is a lake worth visiting. Skiing at McIntyre is one of those things you just must do, and if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Piscataquog River - South Branch. Take a hike on the Wapack Trail; if you're here, you could also have a look at delightful Jakes Pond. There's so much to do here at Bate Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Autumn Hills Campground is a brilliant site for that, and do stop at Fearon Farm Pond, it's a stunning lake. An out of the ordinary thing to stop at next to Bate Pond is Fearon Farm Pond Dam, and some nearby water includes Ceasars Brook. This lake is so wonderful. beds await you at Hill - Brook Motel. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bate Pond has to offer, you can camp at Friendly Beaver Camp Ground, and you'll probably meet some people from Manchester-Nashua here. There's
just no way someone can get bored here at Bate Pond. Piscataquog River has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by, and Buckmeadow Golf Club is a golf course close by. Bate Pond mostly gets a lot of precipitation; November is
the month that gets the most rain, and September is the month with the least moisture. High temperatures at Bate Pond through the warm months are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter
come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Bate Pond are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the magnificent skiing at Pats Peak, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Old Country Road.
