Going for a hike on the Monadnock Sunapee Trail is always a nice adventure; if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Contoocook River - North Branch. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Mount Sunapee is in close proximity to Barrett Pond, and brilliant hiking is available along the Parker Trail. This       lake is so wonderful. Lakes are perfect; Island Pond is a lake that's in the vicinity of Barrett Pond, and this is a popular location for people from Keene. You absolutely must adore Barrett Pond. If you need a place to stay E.F. Lane Hotel is a magnificent choice, and the peak of Bacon Ledge can be seen from Barrett Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Pumpelly Trail, and Island Pond Dam is not far at all from Barrett Pond. The snow is perfect                  at Crotched Mountain, and needless to say, this is a great region for people who like lakes, Trout Pond is a lake close by. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Idle Times Campground is a wonderful campground nearby. For the duration of the months of summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Barrett Pond. Throughout the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. During the winter highs are mostly in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Barrett Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sunapee Lake Lodge, and Barrett Pond is a wonderful spot to visit for more than one day, Seven Maples Campground is a wonderful spot to camp nearby.
