For the period of the warm months highs here at Barbadoes Pond get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Barbadoes Pond throughout the wintertime mostly drop into the 10's. All the water       falling down from the sky makes Barbadoes Pond a wet place; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Barbadoes Pond is unbeatable! Bellamy Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could visit, and Mallego Plains is right here at Barbadoes Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful nearby hotel is Homewood Suites by Hilton Dover. There's so much                  to do here at Barbadoes Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Old Stage Campground is a nice place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Great Works River. A lake nearby is Durham Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors New England Center is a nice site to spend a night or two. If you're a golfer then a magnificent close by course is Hickory Pond Inn & Golf Course; of course Horn Brook is a striking stream that is worth checking out.
