Not far from Back Pond, you'll find Matthews Pond which is a beautiful lake; while you're here you can play some golf at Colebrook Country Club Motel. At Back Pond you can catch a glimpse of Dearth Hill; if you need a place to stay Coos Motor Inn is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful. Back Pond Dam is a location that is in the neighborhood of Back Pond; there's whitewater on Nulhegan River       for all you adrenaline people. Beecher Falls is an inspiring location to have a look at while here, and good hiking is available along the Moose Trail. Summertime highs at Back Pond mostly tend to be in the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; overnight lows all through the winter for Back Pond tend to be in the-10's. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Back Pond. Bishop Brook is                  in the vicinity of Back Pond and is always a diversion to check out. Why not camp at Hidden Acres Campground while you're here at Back Pond, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Mohawk River. There are other locations here than Back Pond, for example Ladd Pond, and you can go for a hike on the Number Six Road. Any time is a brilliant time at Back Pond if you love the outdoors. The slopes of Balsams Wilderness are so inviting nobody can resist; Mountain View Cabins and Campground is a magnificent local campground. This lake is so wonderful. The wonderful people of Berlin like to hang out close by, and going for a hike on the Gaudette Tote Road is always a tremendous adventure.
