Looking for something close to Back Pond? Ladd Pond is nearby, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Berlin here. Yep, outdoors cool things to do are really plentiful here at Back Pond. Back Pond Dam is not far at all from Back Pond. Back Pond gets a normal amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls during August, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Colebrook Country Club Motel is always a delight, and Back Pond is not the only place close by, Matthews Pond is a close by lake. hiking along the Number Six Road. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Hidden Acres Campground, and a day on the slopes of Balsams Wilderness is just what you need. You can see Dearth Hill from Back Pond, and brilliant hiking
is available along the Gaudette Tote Road. For the duration of the months of summer highs here at Back Pond get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; nighttime lows at Back Pond through the wintertime mostly dip into the-10's.

Maidstone Lake
 | 18 miles away I remember the camp called Redwood on the rocks. Is it still there????...Growing up I have had a place on maidstone lake it was my favorit spot at a kid and one day I hope to own another camp up there. I had the best time from water skiing to fishing. To me the best time of year was 4th of July because of all the fireworks and the early morning cannon going off!! and Winter snow mobiling -40 degree wether cant beet it! RED WOOD ON THE ROCKS!... |
Millsfield Pond
