Baboosic Lake is a nice lake to visit. Little Baboosic Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and if you're going to from Manchester-Nashua, you won't be the only one. The high level of precipitation makes Baboosic Lake a reasonably wet spot; November is the month that gets the most rain while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation. | | a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. Yeah, come here to Baboosic Lake for a perfect time. Near Baboosic Lake you find a golf course called Soughegan Woods Golf Club, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Pats Peak. For the period of the warmest time of the year here at Baboosic Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Lake you can take a hike along the Onemile Trail, and Autumn Hills Campground is a great local campground. A quick trip to Joe English Brook close to Baboosic Lake is a brilliant idea; a delightful close by hotel is Fairfield
Inn By Marriott Merrimack. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Baboosic Lake, you could also stop at close by Beaver Ponds, and if you need a place to stay Hill - Brook Motel is a wonderful choice. In case you don’t have
a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Piscataquog River, and Walnut Hill is clearly visible from Baboosic Lake.

 | 13 miles away 1 PHOTO Locust Pond is a lake that was formed in 1954 by the creation of the Locust Pond Dam on Locust Brook, which flows from the Locust Pond to the larger Merrimack River. Locust Pond is considered a lake because Mass Regs (310 CMR 10.04) state that a lake is ?any open body of fresh water with a surface area of ten acres or more, and shall include great ponds. The site is bordered by Locust Avenue and light residential development to the northwest, and Route 3 to the southwest. The other half of the perimeter is bordered by dense development. The pond is mostly open water with no emergent marsh development. The upland is all forested. The habitat quality of this site is limited by the development surrounding it, however, it should provide at least transient habitat for aquatic mammals such as beaver, otter, and mink, and many of the upland mammals and migratory songbirds of forested habitats.... |
