Hit the slopes at Ragged Mountain in close proximity, and if you come at the right time of year, Pemigewasset River offers some tremendous whitewater. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the White Mountains. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing       at nearby Tenney Mountain, and at Ayer Island Station Pond you can catch a glimpse of Roundtop. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Red Carpet Inn and Suites Plymouth is a magnificent choice; Ayers Island Dam is a place that is close to Ayer Island Station Pond. Ayer Island Station Pond is a beautiful lake in the White Mountains. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in close proximity to Ayer Island Station Pond. This                  place, the White Mountains, has so much outdoors cool stuff. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Ayer Island Station Pond; Holt Trail is a perfect local trail, and you're probably keen on lakes, Newfound Lake is one of those nearby. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Dry warm beds await you at Red Carpet Motel, and of course Blake Brook flows through this area. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Melton Falls Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Newfound RV Park is a nice location to camp. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Newfound River River, and if you're stopping by from Concord, you won't be the only one. At Ayer Island Station Pond during the summer months highs are in the 80's, and the overnight is fairly colder of course, generally in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Ayer Island Station Pond are in the 0's.
