Why not stop by Anderson Pond if you're passing through these parts. If only every place had this much outdoors fun things, what a great world it would be. What would winter be without some skiing at Mount Sunapee, and there's always Butternut Pond Dam to stop by near Anderson Pond. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Anderson Pond. Don't leave Anderson Pond without first going for a hike along the West Ridge Trail; the slopes of Whaleback are so inviting noone can resist. The amount of rain that falls at Anderson Pond is close to the national average; during August this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Mascoma River. Lebanon Days Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest; you can stay the night at Mascoma Lake Camping Area. Go for a hike on the Clark Pond Loop. There's so much to do here
at Anderson Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Mascoma Lake Campground is a nice place for that. After a long day outdoors The Trumbull House Bed And Breakfast is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two, of course you could
also pop by Butternut Pond since you're here; it's not far at all. Butternut Brook flows through this area; if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Croyden Brook. And if that's
not sufficient, there's loads more to do near Anderson Pond. You're sure to encounter some good folks from Lebanon here. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Dartmouth Outing Club Trail is always a glorious adventure; Prospect Hill can be seen from Anderson Pond.
