The beauty of Ammonoosuc Lake is reason enough to stop by. A common amount of rain falls here at Ammonoosuc Lake; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Dry River Campground, and you can hit the slopes at Bretton Woods close by.

If the weather is glorious here at Ammonoosuc Lake, you can go for a hike along the Mount Avalon Trail; while you're here, you could explore Elephant Head Brook. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Mount Washington Hotel is a pleasant choice, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Wiley
Range Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Ammonoosuc Lake. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and winter nights
come with lows in the 0's to Ammonoosuc Lake.
Mount Avalon is picturesque and can be observed from Ammonoosuc Lake, and why not camp at Tarry-ho-cottages while you're here at Ammonoosuc Lake. This spot, the White Mountains, has
so much outdoors fun things. Attitash Bear Peak is a very popular ski area nearby, and a cool spot to take a look at is Elephant Head.
