Dry warm beds await you at Mt Madison Inn; Greenough Brook is in the neighborhood of Akers Pond and is always a delight to go to. The Speck Pond Trail offers hiking at its best, and a perfect site like Dixville Notch State Park is too tremendous to leave out. This lake is so wonderful. Akers Pond is a pleasant location to visit for more than one day, Mollidgewock Campground is a pleasant location to camp     nearby. Millsfield Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and you can stay the night at Log Haven Campground.
