Some nearby water includes Shinglemill Brook; whitewater paddling is perfect on Little Suncook. And that's not all you can do here at Adams Pond. Jenness Pond is a wonderful lake close to Adams Pond, and close by you find the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. People from Laconia love to come to Adams Pond, and going for a hike on the Catamount       Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Head up to Gunstock and strap some skis to your feet, and the view of Richardson Hill is pretty. Adams Pond gets a normal amount of rainfall; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain while February is generally the driest month. Hillcrest Campground and Cabins is a delightful campground nearby, and the Campground Trail is a glorious hiking trail nearby. Abenaki is a very popular ski area close                  at hand; Sun River Campground is a pleasant local campground. During the summertime months at Adams Pond highs are ordinarily in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's.
