Beautiful Adams Pond has much to offer visitors. On a tremendous day at Adams Pond you can take a hike along the Catamount Trail. Merrymeeting River is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at, and if you want to hit the beach, Alton Town Beach is close at hand. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area near Adams Pond has to offer. There's a forest here at Adams Pond called Alton Bay State Forest; not far from Adams

| | Pond you'll find Wentworth Pond which is a lovely lake. The scenery at Adams Pond Dam close to Adams Pond is scenic; if you came for an overnight stay Roberts Knoll Campground is a delightful place to camp. Why not camp at Green Tops Campground if you're here at Adams Pond, and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Laconia. in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Meadow Dam Pond. The high level of precipitation makes Adams Pond a pretty wet place; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and January is the
month with the least moisture. You get a pleasant view of Pine Mountain from Adams Pond, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Onemile Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at
nearby Abenaki, and Wolfeboro Inn is a perfect site to get some rest. Summertime at Adams Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and during the
dark hours in the winter at Adams Pond temperatures plunge to the 0's. Adams Pond in fact is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Not far from Adams Pond you come across Sandy Point, and you can have a good hiking adventure
along the Campground Trail. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors The Margate Resort is a nice place to spend a night or two, and Gunstock has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff.
