     Log Haven Campground is a delightful local campground, and you can run the rapids of Mohawk River. If you're here at Lake Abeniki, checking out The Flume is a must; the scenery at Lake Gloriette Dike is delightful. This lake is so wonderful.
This lake is so wonderful. Ramblewood Cabins and Campground is a splendid campground nearby, and don't forget to take a splendid little trip to Flume Brook. For the period of the days of summer here at Lake Abeniki,
 
   high temperatures frequently get into the 70's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows all through the wintertime for Lake Abeniki tend to be in the-10's. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the White Mountains. Here at Lake Abeniki you can spot Abeniki Mountain, and great skiing awaits you at Balsams Wilderness.

Cedar Pond

I spent most of my summers growing up at cedar pond.We had our camp there and I remember the penny candy at the red and white striped store and the dog inky. There was also a dog named cedar that would visit all the camps in search of food. The lake would be freezing even in August and when we had to start a fire in the furnace the only wood we had to burn was obviously cedar and the smell was wonderful. And though the ''camp'' my Pepere had is no longer there, the wonderful memories are....
