For the period of the warm months here at Zahn Reservoir, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Zahn       Reservoir temperatures drop to the 10's. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Zahn Reservoir; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest of the months is January. Zahn Dam is not far at all from Zahn Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Sleep Inn , Inn & Suites, and if you came to camp Johnson County Fairgrounds Park Campground is a pleasant place to do that.
