If you like the outdoors, you'll adore Wickersham Reservoir. A wooded neighborhood in close proximity to Wickersham Reservoir is Oglala National Grassland. There's so       much to do here at Wickersham Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Toadstool Campground is a great place for that. This lake is so wonderful. Dry Boggy Creek flows through this region, and a splendid close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Hot Springs. Not far from Wickersham Reservoir you get some pleasant water scenery at Wickersham Dam, and don't leave Wickersham Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Trooper Trail.                  You're perhaps keen on lakes, Eberspecher Reservoir is one of those nearby, and the Fort Robinson Trail offers hiking at its best. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Wickersham Reservoir. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Wickersham Reservoir are in the 0's. Wickersham Reservoir is generally a pretty dried up location; May is the month that gets the most rain; January is the month with the least moisture.
