Whitehead Reservoir is right by the Toadstool Trail, and why not camp at Toadstool Campground while you're here at Whitehead Reservoir. A lake nearby is Eberspecher Reservoir Number 1, and Super 8 Hot Springs is a pleasant spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Trooper Trail       will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and Agate Fossil Beds National Monument is a glorious place close by. At Whitehead Reservoir you don’t see much rain; May is the month that gets the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Be careful coming to Whitehead Reservoir, you might not ever want to go back home again. At Whitehead Reservoir all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's,                  and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
