Around Swanson Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain; January on the other hand is the driest. Throughout the summertime, highs generally are in the 90's at Swanson Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the       30's; through the dark hours in the winter at Swanson Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. This place, Swanson Lake, it absolutely has so much outdoors fun stuff. A wonderful nearby hotel is Days Inn McCook, and if you get bored of Swanson Lake you could also go to close by Swanson Lake. Camping at Spring Canyon Campground is always a wonderful experience, and a lake nearby is Shackelford Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful.
