Sutherland Reservoir is a location that is quite dry mostly; through May this area sees the most rain; the driest month of the year is December. After a long day outdoors Paxton Days Inn is a splendid place to spend a night or two; a round of golf at nearby Oregon       Trail Golf Course is a splendid way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at KJs Korner Campground. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Sutherland Reservoir. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's.
