You're sure to run into some smiling people from North Platte here, and Sutherland Reservoir is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, KJ's Korner is a wonderful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Oregon Trail Golf Course is a splendid golf course nearby. There's so much to do here at Sutherland Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Sutherland Reservoir Campgrounds is a splendid place       for that. Paxton Days Inn is a splendid place to get some rest; you don’t have to go far from Sutherland Reservoir to catch a sight of the water at Sutherland Dam. During the summertime months at Sutherland Reservoir temperatures are regularly in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Sutherland Reservoir descend                  into the 10's.
