Sukup Reservoir is pretty dry mostly; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is January. A fine location to camp here at Sukup Reservoir is Bruce Park Campground; do take a hike on the Niobrara Trails. Sukup Reservoir is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Wildwood Acres Campground is a nice local campground, and Sukup Reservoir is right by the Ashfall Trail. This lake       is so wonderful. A nice nearby hotel is O'Neill Super 8 Motel. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Sukup Reservoir, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
