That right there is plenty already, but it continues; Stratbucker Reservoir has it all. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Nelson Reservoir; a perfect close by hotel is Days Inn Missouri Valley. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Stratbucker Reservoir without first going       for a hike along the Copper Creek Connector Trail. Stay the night at Glenn Cunningham Lake Campground, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CHERRY HILLS is a magnificent choice. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Stratbucker Reservoir temperatures are regularly in the 80's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 60's. All through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 30's while Stratbucker Reservoir                  night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. Stratbucker Reservoir is a good location to visit for more than one day, Wilson Island State Park is a good location to camp nearby, and dropping by Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. This lake is so wonderful. There are good spots to look at along the Boyer Chute Trails. Lakes? Sure, Nelson South Reservoir is close by. An out of the ordinary thing to stop at in close proximity to Stratbucker Reservoir is Stratbucker Dam, and it's a perfect idea to go to Moores Creek.
