There's brilliant hiking along the Chadron Trails; there are other locations here than Spring Creek Reservoir, for example Gorr Reservoir Number 1. Not much rain falls here at Spring Creek Reservoir; most of the rain falls during       May while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At Spring Creek Reservoir during the months of summer highs are in the 90's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's.
