Snyder Reservoir is a location with many visitors from Omaha-Council Bluffs, and there are wonderful places to explore along the Boyer Chute Trails. Snyder Dam is worth a visit if you're here, and a magnificent close by hotel is La Quinta Omaha. Summertime at Snyder Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's while overnight lows are frequently in the 60's. The winter comes       with highs in the 30's, and night lows at Snyder Reservoir during the winter frequently descend into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Snyder Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Copper Creek Connector Trail. And if you're still looking for more outdoors amusing things just keep reading. Camping is available at Wilson Island State Park; if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CHERRY HILLS is a fine choice.                  Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail is a splendid local destination here at Snyder Reservoir, and do have a look at Turkey Creek if you're here at Snyder Reservoir. A fine location to camp here at Snyder Reservoir is Glenn Cunningham Lake Campground, and Snyder Reservoir is not the only spot close by, Exley Reservoir is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Desoto Bend Trail is always a good adventure, and a lake close by is Nelson South Reservoir.
