There's so much to do here at Smith Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Spring Park Campground is a magnificent location for that, and the Lake Ogallala Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close by. High temperatures at Smith Lake during the summertime months are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and overnight lows       at Smith Lake during the wintertime ordinarily fall into the 0's. If you came to camp Sand Creek Campground is a magnificent location to do that, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Ash Hollow Trail. Smith Lake is a location that is quite dried up commonly; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
