There's so much to do here at Skolnik Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, David City Park Campground is a great location for that. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Crete is a wonderful site to spend a night or two, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not pop by Stastny Reservoir.       Skolnik Reservoir gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; throughout May this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is January. High temperatures at Skolnik Reservoir through the summertime months are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's.
