Scrivens Reservoir is a location that is reasonably dried up typically; the month with most of the rain is May while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. On a fine day at Scrivens Reservoir you can take a hike       along the Wildcat Hills Trails, and Scrivens Reservoir is a great place to camp, Scottsbluff Koa Kampground is a great place. After a long day outdoors Microtel Inns & Suites is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and Riverside Campground is a magnificent campground here. High temperatures at Scrivens Reservoir through the summer are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are typically in the 30's                  while Scrivens Reservoir nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. At Scrivens Reservoir you always meet someone from Scottsbluff; Circle S Lodge is a splendid site to get some rest.
