Ropers Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; May is the month that gets the most rain; January is when it's the driest. Good hiking is available along the Pioneer Park Trails; why not stop at nearby Little Salt Creek while you're here at Ropers Lake. For the period of the summer months here at Ropers Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's while night lows are generally in the       60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Ropers Lake descend into the 0's. An afternoon playing golf at Mahoney Golf Course is always a joy. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Oak Lake; you can go for a hike on the Wilderness Park Trails. This is a delightful area for folks who like lakes.
