The amount of precipitation that falls at Riverside Lakes is close to the national average; June is the month that gets the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. There's tremendous hiking along the E T Mahoney Trails, and an afternoon playing golf at Elkhorn Ridge Golf Course is always a diversion. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Riverside Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Fawn Meadows Campground is a great place for that. For the period of the warm days of summer here at Riverside Lakes, high temperatures usually get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Riverside Lakes temperatures sink to the                  10's.
