The beauty of Nixon Reservoir is reason enough to stop by. Don't leave Nixon Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Boyer Chute Trails, and if you came for an overnight stay Glenn Cunningham Lake Campground is a good location to camp. place gets highs in the 20's; night lows in the 0's for Nixon Reservoir. Nixon Dam is not far at all from Nixon Reservoir. Lakes are pleasant; Henricksen Reservoir is a lake that's right next door to Nixon Reservoir.
This lake
is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Blair is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is SUPER 8 MOTEL - BLAIR, and there are wonderful places to discover along the
Desoto Bend Trail. From a rainfall point of view Nixon Reservoir is a rather normal place; all through June this area sees the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture.
