Any time is a great time at Murray Lake if you like the outdoors. Through the months of summer at Murray Lake highs are regularly in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Murray Lake. Not much rain falls here at Murray Lake; most of the rain falls throughout May, and January is the month with the least       moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Scottsbluff Koa Kampground is a magnificent campground here, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Wildcat Hills Trails. Circle S Lodge is a nice spot to get some rest, and this is a popular place for people from Scottsbluff. A journey to Scotts Bluff National Monument is recommended, and if you need a location to stay Oak Tree Inn Morrill is a tremendous choice.
