This is a delightful region for people who like lakes. Alkali Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. There's so much to do here at Moon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wood Lake City Park Campground is a perfect location for that. Summertime highs at Moon Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 30's; nighttime lows through the wintertime
