Pierce Milling Plant Dam is wonderful and it's near Mill Pond, and a splendid nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Valentine. Lakes? Sure, Fish Hatchery Lake is nearby; camping is available at A and C Canoe Svc. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Berry Bridge Creek next to Mill Pond, and if you came for an overnight stay Valentine Motel and RV Park is a wonderful spot to camp.

enjoy themselves. While you're here at Mill Pond you can take a hike along the Smith Falls Trails, and a quick spree to Fishberry Creek is definitely a tremendous idea. All our national parks are pleasant places to take a look at, and Niobrara National Scenic River is no exception, and a good site to explore is Government Canyon.
