Merritt Reservoir is mostly a rather dried out site; June is the month that gets the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do in the neighborhood of Merritt Reservoir. The panoramas at Niobrara National Scenic River will blow your mind. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to pop by Cedar Bay since you're here at Merritt Reservoir; camping at Merritt       Reservoir Main Area Campground is always a great experience.
