If you're here at McConaughy Lake, do take a journey to Martin Bay; Ogallala       Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Best Western Stagecoach Inn is a good choice, and if you came for an overnight stay Caddi Shack Campground is a great site to camp. McConaughy Lake is a location that is reasonably dehydrated typically; May is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
