Going for a hike along the Rockford Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and there are plenty of folks from Beatrice here. Mayberry Lake gets a typical amount of rain; during the month of June you get the most rain around here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Camping at Mayberry Lake is glorious fun, Sterling Village Park Campground       is a glorious local campground. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Rock Creek Reservoir 2-1; if you came for an overnight stay Johnson County Fairgrounds Park Campground is a tremendous location to camp. Mayberry Lake is next to Wenzl Dam which is a beautiful place unquestionably worth taking a look at; after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Tecumseh is a great location to spend a night or two. For the period of the summertime                  months at Mayberry Lake highs are generally in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 60's.
