Maverick Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sand Hills. A lovely lake like Gillet Lake near Maverick Lake is a great spot to take a look at, and Days Inn Alliance is a perfect spot to get some rest. Maverick Lake gets very little rain; the month with most of the rain is May while February is usually the driest month. So much exciting stuff in the Sand Hills, just tremendous. Do check out Northwest Meadow Lake close to Maverick Lake, it's a gorgeous lake.
