This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Alma Municipal Golf Course, and a wonderful close by hotel is Super 8 Alma. The scenery at Martindale Dam next to Martindale Reservoir is beautiful, and if you came for an overnight stay Methodist Cove Campground is a good place to camp. Not sufficient       hours in a day to enjoy this place. Through the warmest time of the year highs here at Martindale Reservoir get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Martindale Reservoir are in the 10's. Lakes are such calm sites, why not have a look at Sall Reservoir near Martindale Reservoir, and Super 8 Motel - Holdrege is a pleasant place to get some rest.
