A gorgeous lake like Kadlecek Reservoir in the neighborhood of Lundy Reservoir is a great spot to check out, and some of the water nearby flows, like Cilek Creek. At Lundy Reservoir during the summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Lundy Reservoir nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime       are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Lundy Dam is worth visiting while you're here; after a long day outdoors Best Western West Hills Inn is a great site to spend a night or two. A good close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Chadron; Lundy Reservoir is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Spotted Tail Campground is a tremendous local campground. Lundy Reservoir gets very little rain; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest of the months is January.
