Lakes? Sure, Green Lake is nearby. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Snake River, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Lord Lakes. If you came for an overnight stay Steer Creek Campground is a great spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Snake River Area Campground is a fine campground nearby; sites like Powderhorn       Valley are delightful to pop by. During the summer months highs here at Lord Lakes reach the 80's.
