So many cool things to do in the Sand Hills, not sufficient time. A lake nearby is Alkali Lake. Longfellow Lake is not the only place close by, Potter Lake is a close by lake, and Best Western Stagecoach Inn is a magnificent spot to get some rest. For the period of the warm days of summer at Longfellow Lake highs are generally in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's.
