If you came for an overnight stay Omaha Beach Campground is a great location to camp, and do take a hike on the Ash Hollow Trail. You're probably hooked on lakes, Lobner Group Reservoir is one of those close by, and Lobner Dam has good water scenery. Lobner Reservoir gets very little rainfall; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is January. This lake is so wonderful.       Camping at Lobner Reservoir is pleasant fun, Eagle Gulch Campground is a pleasant local campground, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Ogallala is a good choice. At Lobner Reservoir during the long summer days highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's.
