Scotts Bluff National Monument is reasonably in the neighborhood of Lippencott Reservoir, and Lowery Reservoir is a good lake nearby. High temperatures at Lippencott Reservoir all through the months of summer are in the 80's while night lows are commonly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Lippencott Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Riverside       Campground is a splendid campground nearby, and if you're stopping by from Scottsbluff, you won't be the only one. The summit of Bald Peak can be spotted from Lippencott Reservoir. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Bald Peak Group Detention Dam is worth checking out if you're here, and if you're a golfer then a good nearby course is Rolling Green Golf Course.
