Scottsbluff/Chimney Rock KOA is a good campground here, and obviously Dry Spottedtail Creek flows through this neighborhood. Camping at Lewis Lake is delightful fun, Scottsbluff Koa Kampground is a delightful local campground; Circle S Lodge is a great location to get some rest. Summertime at Lewis Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the duration       of the winter highs are commonly in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Lewis Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The sights at Scotts Bluff National Monument will blow your mind, and if you're popping by from Scottsbluff, you won't be the only one. Any time is a delightful time at Lewis Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. Going for a hike on the Wildcat Hills Trails is always a pleasant adventure. Lewis Lake is a location that                  is pretty waterless usually; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is January.
