A lake close by is Wilsonville Reservoir; if you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Express MCCOOK (US 6/34 & HWY 83) is a tremendous choice. Kleckner Reservoir is ordinarily a pretty arid spot; most of the rain falls all through June; the driest month of the year is January. This lake is so wonderful.       If you're a golfer then a glorious close by course is Cambridge Golf Course, and camping at Cambridge City Park Campground is always a good experience. You could also stop at Johnson Reservoir 3 while you're here at Kleckner Reservoir; it's close by. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Kleckner Reservoir. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's.
