Camping at Shady Rest Camp Motel Campground is always a splendid experience; you can take a little trip to King Dam while you're here at King Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at King Reservoir, you could take a look at East Branch Turkey Creek, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at       nearby Gardner-Larson Reservoir. While you're here at King Reservoir you will meet lots of folks from nearby Lexington, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Super 8 Lexington. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are beyond doubt plentiful here at King Reservoir. Not far from King Reservoir, you'll stumble on Gardner Reservoir which is a scenic lake.
