Keys Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sand Hills. Just can't get enough of the Sand Hills. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Dolly Warden Lake, and Hamilton Park Campground is a great local campground. Summer at Keys Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Keys Lake dipping down into the 0's throughout winter

| | nights. This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Badlands National Park is a national park worth a visit. Not far from Keys Lake, you'll come across West Osborne Lake which is a beautiful lake, and if you came for an overnight stay Otis Motel and Trailer Court is a great place to camp. At Keys Lake you don’t see much precipitation; during June this area sees the most rain; January is when it's the driest.
