If time allows, Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail is a national park worth a visit; the Desoto Bend Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Jungbluth Reservoir is not far at all from Omaha-Council Bluffs, and Jungbluth Reservoir is right by the Copper Creek Connector Trail. For the duration of the summertime at Jungbluth Reservoir highs are frequently in the 80's. Once the sun is down it       sinks down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Jungbluth Reservoir dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Camping is available at NP Dodge Park Campground, and there's fine hiking along the Boyer Chute Trails. The amount of rainfall that falls at Jungbluth Reservoir is close to the national average; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while January is the month with the least amount                  of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. So many entertaining things to do here at Jungbluth Reservoir, too fine to be true. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Carter Lake/Eppley Arpt. is a nice site to spend a night or two, and unsurprisingly, this is a perfect vicinity for people who like lakes, Honey Lake is a lake around here.
