At Jordan Reservoir you don’t see much precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here; January is the month with the least moisture. There are magnificent locations to explore along the Fort Robinson Trail, and Little Red Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. For the duration of the summer months at Jordan Reservoir highs are usually in the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's.       Through the winter highs are commonly in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Jordan Reservoir sink into the 0's. Monroe Creek flows through this neighborhood, and you can go for a hike on the Trooper Trail. Any time is a fine time at Jordan Reservoir if you like the outdoors. If you came to camp Gilbert-Baker Campground is a great spot to do that. Going for a hike on the Fort Laramie to Fort Robinson Trail is always                  a great adventure; a journey to Agate Fossil Beds National Monument is worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful.
