Lancaster Event Center is a magnificent local campground, and Jones Dam is not far at all from Jones Reservoir. The yearly rainfall here at Jones Reservoir is about average; May is when you get the most rain here, and January meanwhile is the driest month. For the period of the summer months here at Jones Reservoir, high temperatures regularly get into the 90's, and the nighttime       is quite colder of course, mostly in the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Jones Reservoir are in the 10's. AmericInn Lincoln South is a good site to get some rest, and since you're here you can take a hike along the E T Mahoney Trails.
