Johnson Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Tomahawk Park Campground is a great local campground; do have a look at Holzberger Reservoir, it's a charming lake. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Johnson Reservoir,       and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Johnson Reservoir. It is very waterless here at Johnson Reservoir mostly; through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Gordon Country Club is a great golf course close by, and if you haven’t been to Badlands National Park, you have to schedule some                  time for it while you're here.
